The Humber Yorkshire 4x4 Response provide 4x4 Vehicles with experienced offroad drivers willing to do their best to help the community. The group does hold public liability insurance that covers members for response work.
Membership of the Humber Yorkshire 4x4 Response team is open to anybody who is willing to help. You do not need to be an expert off road driver, or even own a 4x4. Members have access to training to the highest standards in offroad driving, first aid, winch work & vehicle recovery. To operate successfully we need a network of supporters, mechanics, fund raisers and other volunteers.
While the main aims and purpose of the group are very serious, we try and involve the whole family whenever possible.
We have regular meetings which are open to all interested parties (see forum for dates and locations). And have close links to Hull4x4, East Yorkshire Green Lane Association and other groups and have many members common to both groups.
We have regular activities and events where children and other family members are welcome to come along, including 4x4 shows, green lane runs and other 4x4 related activities. |
